I wouldn’t say this is the first legit champion vs champion match…Don’t forget Hendo losing both his pride titles in unification bouts.

@xkillaz18x overeem will probably go to the UFC. he has accomplished winning a K1 grand prix. he holds 2 heavyweight titles in MMA, but has really not faced any real competition to keep or win those belts. overeem wants to be number 1, so he will have to go to the UFC.

where will overeem go when strikeforce is done? will overeem stop his k1 fighting just to go to ufc, i dont think so and i hope not. lol but at the same time i would love to see overeem in ufc

if they give GSP the strikeforce belt its pointless having it. Who from strikeforce is gonna be able to win it from gsp?

@8TRERIDA the usual is that the runner up and the winners of the other TUF fights get a contract to fight at least 1 more time. losers of the other fights get released. so, Nijem will get another shot at the UFC.

if GSP wins,it should unify the belt,making GSP “THE”champion of both promotions,first step toward doing this title by title between the 2 Zuffa owned promotions, my understanding with the Barnett licensing issue is not only is he not the only one not to have his license fully completed,but the way Texas is doing the licensing now,you do not end up with your license to very close to the fight due to blood work for banned substances,also that shirt was printed with ink made from winsauce
