205 is the best division with some of the best fighters. Silva pretty much cleared the intire mid weight the only fight he has left b4 no one will want c him fight is Cheal, then GSP BONES and retire as a legend

@Cenobyte666 Be that as it may that’s the fight that the ppl want to see. The MW division is hands down the weakest division in the UFC so if he’s not going to fight Chael he should go up to 205 n fight a big name there cause nobody wants to see Silva fight Bisping except for Soares who’s obviously protecting his fighter.. I hope he does move up to 205 it’ll be interesting to see how he would do against Evans, Rampage, Shogun, Jones, Machida, n Phil Davis. The 205 division’s fkn stacked!

@Bones87ish anderson feel he doesn’t deserve a rematch, and he doesn’t, he already lost while he was caught juicing and anderson was injured. Sonnen can sit and say oh well I kicked his ass for 24 minutes so I won, when really he sat on top of him for 24 minutes, and even roided and with anderson with an injury, he couldn’t finish anderson as hard as he tried. Cool, he sat on him for 24 minutes, with 5+ more seconds in that triangle choke, anderson would have killed him, that’s more efficient.

@Diigify Nah, you’d have to be a big Silva hater to think he would duck someone. I think too many people are taking Chael’s words a bit seriously. lol They’ll make it, just because there’s no bigger fight. Silva just doesn’t think he’s deserving which you could see why. He cheated and lost a title fight and then gets another shot one win later. There are other reasons why it’s a good rematch but that’s Silva’s POV which you should understand cause it’s true ya know.

You complain about promos like WWE from fighters when you should worry what the sport will become if WWE-like fans ruin the sport with their expectations of entertainment rather than pure competition, which is more entertaining as it is. If striking is all that is exciting for you, then why don’t you just go watch some boxing and K1- watch refs break up clinches every 10-20 seconds. Woohoo! How exciting is that? Not that bad maybe, but not nearly as exciting as MMA where so much is allowed.

You bet there are fans like myself who prefer what is effective over what “striking” fans consider exciting. If its within the rules and effective, tactics will rise to the top. If it doesn’t work, it will fail. Look at the current champions by weight division. All of them with the exception of Anderson Silva and Jose Aldo are great wrestlers.

lol at Dana slipping up. He just said that he phoned Nick’s camp first to set up the BJ fight… but he told BJ (as he said in many other interviews, that actually got BJ to take the fight) that Cesar Gracie phoned him, saying they could beat BJ and asking for that fight? Which in turn made BJ angry enough to take the fight and call out Gracie himself for a fight.
